Project Cooperation Agreement:
"Protocol of the 10th Regular Meeting of the Committee on Science and Technology Cooperation between the People's Republic of China and Hungary"
Fields and Directions:
1.Information and Communication Technology and Digitalization: Focus on research and development in areas such as 5G and future communication technologies, digital transformation of industries, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and cybersecurity.
2.Agriculture and Food Science: Concentrate on improving agricultural productivity and food quality through advanced agricultural technologies, crop breeding, food processing and preservation techniques, and sustainable agricultural practices.
3.Life Sciences and Health: Conduct research in areas such as biomedical research, new drug development, medical device innovation, and digital health solutions to improve healthcare outcomes.
4.Green Technology and Environmental Protection: Explore technologies for environmental protection and sustainable development, including renewable energy generation and storage, energy-efficient technologies, waste management, and pollution control.
5.Mathematics: Support basic scientific research in areas such as pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and mathematical modeling, with the goal of advancing mathematical theories and their applications in various fields.
6.Chemistry: Focus on fundamental chemical research, including organic and inorganic chemistry, chemical synthesis, materials chemistry, and chemical analysis, to develop new materials and chemical processes.
7.Physics: Conduct research in areas such as condensed matter physics, particle physics, optics, and quantum physics to contribute to the understanding of fundamental physical phenomena and their applications.
Number of Projects to be Supported: No more than 10 projects.
Total Funding to be Supported: 15 million yuan.
Other Requirements:
1.In the fields of mathematics, chemistry, and physics, only basic science research projects will be funded. During the project implementation period, the Chinese side must jointly publish 2 academic papers in the JCR first-tier zone with the Hungarian side.
2.For project applications in the fields of mathematics, chemistry, and physics, the "1+2" model will be adopted, that is, one Chinese scientific research institution (including universities and hospitals) will jointly apply with two Hungarian scientific research institutions. For project applications in other fields, the "2+2" model will be adopted, that is, both the Chinese and Hungarian sides will be one enterprise and one scientific research institution jointly applying.
